The Bachelor of computer Application (BCA) programme is a three years professional degree course in Computer Applications. The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done 10+2 and are interested in taking computers/IT as a career.
It is designed to provide training to design, develop, and implement computer applications using modern information technology tools. The course provides a sound academic base which provides for an advanced career in Computer Applications.
During three years of study, students are imparted with the theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Science and development of programming skills. BCA graduates can start up their career in either Government sector or private sector since there are a lot of opportunities in both these sectors. This degree helps the student to acquire a sound knowledge of computer applications which help them in having a perfect launch pad for career in the field of Information Technology.
